Along with the basic knowledge, including concepts of the food service industry, students are taught how to create pastries and baked goods, develop and improve their skills in the kitchen, discover the art of garde manger, prepare French and classic cuisine presentations, and even participate in a five-week externship in a professional kitchen.

In addition to these skills, you will receive the proper tools. A culinary kit is included with the cost of the program!

Upon graduation, students will have met the American Culinary Certification standards for Safety and Sanitation, Supervisory Management and Nutritional Certifications.
